Sears appliances suck

There are many places to shop these days where customer service does exist and sales people really do care. So I called Automotive center and got diehard phone number but they can only tell you where to buy it and what size battery you need. I eventually found someone who said that the only way I could get a warranty replacement part was to pay for a "technician" to come out to tell me that the part was defective. This time, they told me they would have a repairman call me in 5 working days to schedule an appointment to come and see my non working dishwasher. I don't know about today. Ikea would not help either as they believe once you buy an appliance from they they are not responsible, so you have to deal with Whirlpool.

As we approach December with the box still sealed sitting in my foyer, I called customer service my-home for help. Sears is a joke of a company and I should be glad that my attempts of obtaining employment there didn't come to fruition. All they want is your money and they give you nothing but crap. I used to work at Sears. I'm out almost a thousand dollars.

They sent us the model we ordered but without the icemaker. Who knew what had happened to Sears? It broke after 14 months. An over experienced sales manager should at leat be treated with that much respect. I'd have to call a manager. Every repair involves long haggling phone calls to get a service guy to come out.
